Internationalization in ampEducator

We are continuing to modernize ampEducator for internationalization. This is primarily to support different language requests from our customer base. As a result, there will be ongoing updates to our interface this month and as the updates become available we will notify via announcements (ie. Course Edit  was still using the old interface and was updated with our new user interface this weekend).
In computing, internationalization and localization are means of adapting computer software to different languages, regional peculiarities and technical requirements of a target locale. Internationalization is the process of designing a software application so that it can be adapted to various languages and regions without engineering changes. NEW! Notifications & (Student) Support Emails.

1. Notifications. Added email notification reply email for all institutions.

ampEducator sends out email notifications for various reasons. When an email notification goes out the previous default reply-to email and name was set as support@ampeducator.com resulting in any reply to a notification needing to be re-directed to the school from our support team, which is obviously a very inefficient method. For all existing clients we have set your default institution Main Contact email and name as the new reply-to for these notifications. If you wish to change or verify this you will need to navigate to Username > Institution Account > Notifications and setup the appropriate reply-to name and email for your institution.

2. (Student) Support Emails. Added support emails for academic, financial and other - for students.

When doing support request students now have the option of Academic, Financial, Other or Technical. Students selecting Technical will send an email to support@ampeducator.com, which will be entered into our ticketed system and the appropriate actions will be taken by our support team. All Academic, Financial or Other support requests will go to the email that you will need to specify. For all existing clients we have set your default institution Main Contact email and name as the new reply-to for these support requests. If you wish to change or verify this you will need to navigate to Username > Institution Account > Support Emails and setup the appropriate reply-to name and email for your institution.
