Interface Improvements

When you login today you'll notice a couple of changes. If you encounter any errors please type CTRL + R on your keyboard to clear them.
  • Calendar, Documents and Emails are now available in top left hand side of the screen after the ampEducator identification. Letter Templates are now under Configuration. You can now view / print ID cards directly from the Student and Staff list pages.
  • My Account, Support Request, Manual and Logout are now available by clicking on your name in the top right hand of the screen.
  • Home is now represented by an icon.
  • Calendar has been replaced. Filters have been removed.
  • Courses, Prospects and Students have a new type of datalist which expands to fill the screen. In addition to this for each datalist you can now choose columns, bookmark the current state of the list and export the list as a PDF, Excel or CSV file. Over the couple of weeks all the lists will be replaced with this new list.
  • The date and time pickers have been updated in forms.
Over the next couple of weeks we will be making more interface changes to improve the usability of the software. The main goals of these changes are
  • Consolidation - Present all related information on a single screen. For example when viewing a student you will be able to see their entire profile along with events, emails, letters, documents, courses, notes and anything related to that student.
  • Reorganization - Group related areas together to better match how institutions organize themselves. For example Courses, Programs and Students will be organized under 'Academics' and Prospects will fall under 'Admissions'.
  • Usability - Make the application simple and quick to use and make is accessible on your desktop, tablet or smartphone.
We're hoping that making the changes by adjusting the interface little by little will make the transition easier for our users. It's also a huge project to change the interface across the entire application so the small steps makes it manageable for us as well. Please email if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
